Red Tailed Hawks are the most common types of Hawk in North America.
Even though this bird seems big, it only weighs in at about 3 pounds.
Did you know that Hawks enjoy wide open spaces?
Maybe this is why this Hawk has enjoyed spending time at Pine Needles
Red Tail Hawks are not dangerous to humans.
Let's just hope they do not mistake your golf ball for a snack and fly away with it!
