Fun Facts about Pete and his love
for Speed Golf:
- Pete played collegiate golf at the U.S.
Military Academy
- Pete served five years in the active duty Army
from 2005-2010 and deployed to Afghanistan during that time; a
lot of running in the Army!!
- 2013: Pete started a Speed Golf League in
Raleigh
- The Speed Golf league plays weekly at a
municipal course Raleigh where it only takes 40-50 minutes to play a full
18!
- The current reccord for his league is held by
Pete & his brother, Andy, at a score of 110. This is a combination of
time and score
- Pete shot 67 in 43 minutes and his brother
Andy shot 70 in 40 minutes
Personal
Achievements:
- 2013 - 2nd place with a score of 75 in 54
minutes
- 2013 - 12th place at World Speedgolf
Championships at Bandon Dunes Resort in Bandon, OR
- 2014 - 12th place World Speedgolf
Championships at Bandon Dunes Resort in Bandon, OR with a score of 78
in 56 minutes
